Anna’s Hope chosen to benefit from Global Radio’s ‘Make Some Noise Campaign’
Anna’s Hope been chosen by Global Radio as one of the charities to benefit from Global Radio’s Make Some Noise and will help raise funds to help children with brain tumours reach their full potential.
Carole Hughes, Founder of Anna’s Hope said “Money raised from the campaign will fund the Anna’s Hope Occupational Therapist for at least 6 months. This support will not only make a huge difference to our fundraising but also raise awareness of the much needed support children with brain tumours need.”
On October 8th, Global will unite its audiences and its friends from the worlds of media and entertainment to make some noise and raise money for disadvantaged youngsters. Anna’s Hope has been selected as a beneficiary, and will receive a grant as well as an opportunity to tell its story on the radio.
Emma Bradley, director, Global’s Make Some Noise, said: “Twenty-three million people tune in to our radio stations every week and tens of millions more watch our TV channels and visit our digital platforms. This puts us in an incredible position. We set up Global’s Make Some Noise to help charities that would otherwise struggle to reach people. By giving them a voice on our radio stations and our other platforms, they can talk to tens of millions of people and raise money to help disadvantaged youngsters right across the UK.”
“We’re so pleased to be supporting Anna’s Hope as part of our 2015 campaign and that we can help give Anna’s Hope a voice and reach millions of people, raising awareness and as much money as we can through this year’s campaign.”
Global’s Make Some Noise was created by Global, the media & entertainment group. Global is home to the country’s most loved commercial radio brands Capital, Capital Xtra, Heart, Radio X, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth, Smooth Extra and Gold.
